Hello everyone! I’ve been exploring how stress might contribute to acne, and I’m curious about your experiences. It seems that during particularly stressful periods—like exam season or busy work weeks—my skin reacts with unwanted breakouts.
From what I’ve learned, stress can elevate cortisol levels, which may lead to increased oil production and, consequently, more acne. I’ve been trying to manage my stress through self-care routines and incorporating products like salicylic acid and clay masks into my skincare. However, I still find myself questioning whether that’s enough.
