Hi everyone! As someone who is careful about my skincare, especially with my combination skin that can be reactive, I’ve been diving into the differences between The Ordinary Glycolic Toner and Pixi Glow Tonic. Both are celebrated for their exfoliating benefits, but I’m curious if they really provide similar outcomes for different skin types.
The Ordinary Glycolic Toner has 7% glycolic acid, which is great for gently exfoliating and enhancing skin texture. In contrast, Pixi Glow Tonic contains 5% glycolic acid but adds soothing ingredients like aloe vera, making it a good option for sensitive skin. After some patch testing, I’ve noticed that while both can brighten my skin, they can also react differently, sometimes causing irritation with one over the other.
I believe it really comes down to individual skin chemistry and how each product interacts with our unique skin types. If you’ve tried either or both, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Did you notice any major differences in your skin’s reaction? Which toner do you prefer, and what was your experience like?
