Should You Apply Vitamin C Serum Before or After Moisturizer?

There’s an ongoing discussion about the best order to apply vitamin C serum and moisturizer. Personally, I find that applying the serum first works wonders for my dry skin. It allows the serum to penetrate more effectively, letting those powerful antioxidants do their thing.

I prefer this method because vitamin C can be quite potent. When applied directly to clean skin, it maximizes its benefits. After letting it absorb for a minute, I follow up with a hydrating moisturizer to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier. This routine has really helped me keep a fresh and dewy complexion, especially during the colder months.

Of course, I know many people apply vitamin C serum after their moisturizer to seal in hydration. I’d love to hear about your experiences! Do you apply vitamin C serum before or after your moisturizer? Have you noticed any changes in your skin based on the order? What products do you think work best together?
