Optimal Times for Applying Sunscreen for Radiant Skin

As someone who struggles with dry skin due to constant air conditioning, I’ve realized how essential sunscreen is in my daily skincare routine. With my fair warm-toned skin, it burns easily, making sun protection a must. But when is the ideal time to apply sunscreen to ensure we get the best protection?

The best practice is to apply sunscreen about 15 to 30 minutes before you head outside. This allows enough time for the product to properly bond with your skin. If you spend a lot of time indoors, especially near windows or under bright lights, don’t forget to put on sunscreen even when you’re inside. A hydrating mist before your moisturizer and sunscreen can also help keep your skin feeling fresh throughout the day.

Additionally, remember to reapply every two hours if you’re outdoors for an extended period. Keeping a travel-sized sunscreen handy is a great way to make this easier! What products or routines have you found effective for your skin type? How do you stay protected and hydrated during the day?
