As someone with oily skin who enjoys outdoor running, I understand the challenge of finding the perfect moisturizer that provides hydration without feeling greasy. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with DIY moisturizers, and I’ve come across some fantastic recipes that keep my skin feeling fresh and light.
One of my go-to combinations is aloe vera gel mixed with a few drops of jojoba oil. Aloe vera is wonderfully soothing, while jojoba oil mimics the skin’s natural oils, making it ideal for those with oily skin. I love adding a couple of drops of essential oils like lavender or tea tree for a pleasant fragrance and added benefits.
Another recipe I’ve enjoyed is a blend of shea butter and coconut oil. Simply melt the shea butter and mix it with coconut oil until smooth. This mixture is slightly richer, making it perfect for longer runs in the sun, just be sure to let it cool and set before applying.
