Hello, beauty lovers! I recently embarked on a major decluttering journey, and I can’t express how liberating it was to let go of items that were holding me back—both in terms of space and mental clarity. I discovered that many of the beauty products I clung to were no longer serving me, from expired skincare to makeup that just didn’t match my needs anymore. It was definitely time for a change.
In the past, I was guilty of keeping products just in case, but I’ve come to understand my skin better, especially since I have oily, acne-prone skin. I found several items packed with ingredients that weren’t suitable for me, just collecting dust. I finally parted with those heavy creams that were too thick and replaced them with lightweight moisturizers that allow my skin to breathe and thrive.
I also tackled my makeup stash, which included numerous foundations that didn’t match my deep neutral tone or that exacerbated breakouts. Letting go of those was tough, but I realized that holding onto them was just a reminder of what didn’t work. Now, my space feels much clearer, and my mind does too—what a win!
