Mineral vs. Chemical Sunscreen: What's Your Experience?

I’ve been curious about the differences between mineral and chemical sunscreens lately. As someone who prefers a natural look, I often lean towards lightweight products that don’t feel heavy on my skin. However, I’ve heard mixed opinions from friends; some say they react to mineral options but not to chemical ones, which makes me reflect on my own experiences.

Personally, I haven’t had any issues with mineral sunscreen, but I recognize that everyone’s skin is unique. I’ve noticed that mineral SPFs can sometimes leave a white cast or feel a bit thicker, while chemical SPFs usually blend more easily and appear sheer. Yet, I’ve also seen many people rave about mineral sunscreens, especially those with sensitive skin.

Have you noticed any reactions to either type? What factors do you consider when choosing a sunscreen? I’d love to hear your experiences and any product recommendations you might have!
