Hello everyone! I wanted to share my journey with chin acne, which has been quite a challenge for me. As someone with oily and acne-prone skin, I often struggle with hormonal breakouts in this area. I know many of you can relate, so I thought it might be helpful to discuss some strategies that have worked for me.
One product that has really made a difference is salicylic acid. It helps to keep my pores clear and reduces those annoying breakouts. I also occasionally use benzoyl peroxide, particularly when I feel a breakout brewing. However, I’ve learned the importance of balancing these treatments with hydration, so I make sure to use lightweight moisturizers to keep my skin from feeling dry and irritated.
I also want to mention post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), which can be just as frustrating as the acne itself. I’m focusing on being patient with my skin and treating both the breakouts and the lingering dark spots. It’s definitely a journey, and I’ve found that consistency is essential.
