Hi everyone! I’ve recently started using glycolic acid to help with my oily skin and enlarged pores, but I’ve been facing some itchiness after applying it. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this and what you might have done to manage it.
I typically use gel moisturizers and lightweight sunscreens, but it seems like glycolic acid is causing some irritation for me. I understand that it helps exfoliate and promote cell turnover, but I’m wondering if the itchiness is just my skin adjusting or if I might be using it incorrectly.
I’ve tried mixing it with my moisturizer, but the itching persists. If you have tips or a routine that has worked for you to ease sensitivity, I would love to hear about it! Have you dealt with similar reactions, and what strategies have helped you?
