Is switching to a refillable foundation a good idea?

As we all look for ways to make our beauty routines more sustainable, refillable foundations are gaining popularity. I’m curious about whether they really live up to the claims. I’ve been thinking about switching from my current brand to a refillable one, especially since I have dry skin.

One of my main concerns is whether a refillable foundation can offer the hydration and coverage I need, particularly for my fair neutral tone. I’ve also heard mixed reviews regarding the longevity of these products. For those of you who have tried refillable foundations, how has your experience been regarding performance and reducing waste?

Do you believe the environmental benefits make it worth it, or have you encountered any downsides? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Refillable foundations can be hit or miss! I tried one that looked great at first, but it didn’t hold up on my dry skin after a few hours. The concept is awesome for reducing waste, but make sure to test for hydration and coverage before committing. Sometimes sticking with what works is just as important!
