Is investing in hydrating sunscreen really worth it?

Choosing a sunscreen can be overwhelming with so many options out there. As someone with normal skin who prefers lightweight products, the idea of hydrating sunscreen really piques my interest. But is it worth the higher price tag?

I’ve heard that hydrating sunscreens not only shield us from UV rays but also help keep our skin moisturized all day long. I’m curious about how they feel, though. Are they greasy or do they soak in nicely like a good moisturizer? For those who have tried them, how do they stack up against traditional sunscreens in terms of hydration?

Has anyone found a hydrating sunscreen that works well without leaving an oily residue? What brands have you loved or disliked? I’d really appreciate your insights!

I tried a hydrating sunscreen last summer and really liked it! The Neutrogena Hydro Boost one feels super light and absorbs quickly without that greasy feel. Have you checked out any specific brands yet, or are you still exploring?
