Is 'Game of Thrones' Overhyped or Just Misunderstood?

I’ve been reflecting on certain TV shows that receive a lot of praise yet don’t seem to meet expectations. One show that stands out to me is ‘Game of Thrones.’ While its early seasons captivated audiences, I felt that the final episodes were rushed and left many storylines hanging. It’s as if they had built this amazing world only to see it unravel in the end. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, but it seems a significant number of fans still regard it highly.

I wonder if nostalgia plays a role in this. Fans invested so much time and emotion into the characters and plots that it might be tough to move on, even if the conclusion was underwhelming. It’s also intriguing how some shows seem to get a pass for their shortcomings simply because they’re popular. This raises questions about how we gauge quality in entertainment.

What other shows do you think might be overrated? Do you believe that popularity influences our judgment of a show’s quality? I’d love to hear your insights!
