Identifying and Managing Acne Scarring

Acne scarring can be a significant concern for those of us striving for clear, healthy skin. It’s important to understand what these scars can look like. They often vary from person to person, but two common types are atrophic scars, which appear sunken or pitted, and hypertrophic scars, which are raised and can feel bumpy. Additionally, pigmentation can differ; some scars may be darker or redder than your surrounding skin, while others might leave lighter marks.

Fortunately, there are ways to manage acne scars effectively. Incorporating products like brightening serums can help improve skin tone over time, and treatments such as chemical peels or microdermabrasion can also be beneficial. I’ve started using a vitamin C serum in my routine, and I’m already seeing some positive changes!
