Many of us are aware that stress can affect our hair, but have you considered the role of inflammation? In my journey to combat dry skin and establish a sustainable beauty routine, I’ve learned how our bodies respond to various triggers, including inflammation. This can be caused by factors like diet, environmental influences, and even the skincare products we choose, and it may contribute to hair loss.
When inflammation occurs, it can disrupt the hair growth cycle, causing hair follicles to enter a resting phase too early. This can result in thinning or shedding hair, which is concerning for many. To combat this, I’ve started focusing on reducing inflammation through my diet by adding more antioxidant-rich foods and being selective about the products I use on my skin and hair. It’s a reminder that our overall health can be intricately linked to our beauty routines.
