How effective is tranexamic acid for brightening sunspots?

Hey everyone! Dealing with sunspots can be really frustrating when you’re aiming for clear, glowing skin. I’ve started using tranexamic acid in my routine along with vitamin C and hydrating serums, but I’m wondering how effective it actually is for brightening those pesky spots. I’ve come across mixed reviews about its effectiveness and how quickly results might show.

Has anyone noticed significant improvements in their sunspots after using tranexamic acid? How long did it take for you to see any changes? Also, do you think it works better when paired with other ingredients, or is it effective enough on its own? I’d love to hear your experiences!

I used tranexamic acid for a few months alongside niacinamide, and I actually saw some noticeable fading of my sunspots! It took around 8 weeks before I saw a difference, but I think it definitely helped having that combo. I’ve heard some folks get results just with tranexamic acid, but it seems to pack more of a punch with other stuff.

I’ve been using tranexamic acid for about six months with good results. My sunspots have faded noticeably, especially when I pair it with vitamin C. It took a solid three months before I really started seeing changes, though, so patience is key!
