Hello everyone! I want to share my recent experience with sunscreen allergies and hopefully get some insights from you all. As someone with dry skin and fair complexion, I rely heavily on sunscreen for protection against sun damage. However, I recently had an unfortunate allergic reaction to a new product, which left my skin red, itchy, and quite uncomfortable!
Through my research, I discovered that certain ingredients—like fragrances and certain chemical blockers—can cause reactions, especially for those with sensitive skin. Now, I’m on a quest to find a sunscreen that provides effective protection without the irritation. I’ve started experimenting with physical blockers, such as zinc oxide, which seem to be gentler on my skin.
