Enhancing Eyeliner for Hooded Eyes: Effective Techniques

Hello everyone! I’ve been exploring ways to make my eyeliner truly stand out on my hooded eyes and wanted to share some insights that have worked for me. I hope this helps others in a similar situation!

One technique I’ve found particularly effective is using gel or cream eyeliner instead of a traditional pencil. The creamy consistency glides on easily and tends to stay in place better, reducing the chances of transferring to my upper lid. Additionally, I love the tightlining method, where you apply eyeliner along the waterline and just above it. This creates the illusion of fuller lashes, which is always a plus!

Focusing on the outer corners can also make a significant difference. I like to extend my eyeliner slightly upward and outward for a lifted effect. And don’t underestimate the power of a good eyeshadow base; it really helps keep the eyeliner vibrant and in place throughout the day.

What tips have you discovered for making eyeliner pop on hooded eyes? Do you have any favorite products that you can’t live without?
