Does Shaving Your Face Help Control Acne Breakouts?

I’ve been hearing a lot about the potential benefits of shaving your face, especially regarding acne management. As someone who occasionally struggles with breakouts, I’m curious if this could be a beneficial addition to my skincare routine. From what I gather, shaving might help exfoliate dead skin cells and remove excess hair, which could improve how well products absorb into the skin. But does it really help with acne?

Some individuals swear by shaving for maintaining smooth and clear skin, while others worry it could irritate their skin or exacerbate breakouts. I believe it largely depends on your skin type and its sensitivity. For those with normal skin like mine, shaving might reveal a fresh layer, but those with sensitive skin might want to approach this method with caution.

I’d love to hear your experiences! Have you tried shaving your face to manage acne? What results did you see? Any tips for those thinking about giving it a shot?
