Hey everyone! I’ve been struggling with acne for a while and recently started using salicylic acid to help manage my breakouts. It’s been effective for keeping my oily skin under control and has really helped with the maskne I’ve been experiencing. However, I’m curious about its impact on acne scars.
I’ve read that salicylic acid can exfoliate the skin and promote cell turnover, which sounds promising for reducing the visibility of scars, especially newer ones. But what about older scars? Does it work better when paired with other treatments? I’d love to hear your experiences!
