Deciding Between Sampling New Fragrances or Curating My Collection

As a flight attendant, I’ve accumulated quite the assortment of fragrances from around the globe. Each bottle holds a special memory, but I’m starting to question whether I should keep sampling new scents or focus on the ones I already own. The various climates I encounter during my flights also influence how fragrances react on my skin, complicating my choices even further.

I genuinely enjoy the excitement of discovering new scents, but I sometimes feel overwhelmed by my current collection. I have a variety of fresh, floral, and warm fragrances that suit different moods and occasions, yet I often find myself gravitating toward the same few favorites. Perhaps it would be wiser to concentrate on the fragrances I truly love instead of constantly adding more to my shelf.

What are your thoughts? Is it more rewarding to curate a smaller, meaningful selection of fragrances, or does sampling new ones keep the experience fresh and exciting? How has your fragrance journey changed over time, especially with shifts in your lifestyle? I’d love to hear your experiences!
