Comparing 10% and 20% Azelaic Acid for Hyperpigmentation

I’ve recently started exploring azelaic acid and would love to hear about your experiences with the different concentrations, specifically the 10% and 20% formulations. I have normal skin with a warm undertone and have been dealing with persistent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). I’m curious if the higher concentration really offers noticeable benefits.

From what I understand, the 20% formulation is often suggested for more stubborn cases, but I’m wondering if the 10% option is still effective while being gentler. I also prefer vegan beauty products, so I’m particularly interested in recommendations that fit that criteria. If you’ve tried both strengths, how did you find the texture and results?

Sharing our experiences with these products can really help each other navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of skincare. If you’ve had success with either concentration, what has your journey been like in terms of irritation, effectiveness, and overall satisfaction? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
