Choosing the Best Vitamin C Serum for Acne Scars

Hi everyone! I’ve been on a quest to improve my post-acne scars, and recently, I’ve focused on vitamin C serums. With oily skin and a warm undertone, I’ve discovered that not all vitamin C products are effective for fading those stubborn marks.

Vitamin C is celebrated for its brightening effects and its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation. However, finding the right formulation can be a challenge. From my experience, serums containing stable forms of vitamin C, like ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbyl phosphate, have worked best for me. They penetrate my skin well without causing irritation, which is a big plus since my oily skin can be sensitive.

I typically pair my vitamin C serum with retinoids and niacinamide. While I’ve learned that patience is key and results take time, I’m committed to this routine. I’m curious to hear about your experiences! Have you found a vitamin C serum that has really made a difference for your acne scars? What tips do you have for incorporating it into your skincare routine?
