What are some effective strategies for keeping your skin safe from sun damage? With so many products and tips out there, it can be overwhelming to decide what really works.
Sunscreen is of course a must, but it’s not just about slathering it on. Does anyone have recommendations for the best types to use or tips on application? Additionally, how important is it to wear protective clothing or seek shade?
I’d love to hear what others find effective in their routines. What have your experiences been with sun protection?
Definitely look for broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, and remember to reapply every two hours, especially if you’re sweating or swimming. Also, wearing lightweight long sleeves and a wide-brimmed hat can really help. I’ve noticed that staying in the shade during peak hours makes a big difference too!
I’ve found that wearing a wide-brimmed hat and long sleeves can make a huge difference, way more than just sunscreen sometimes. Also, applying sunscreen generously and reapplying every couple of hours is key. I usually set a timer on my phone to remind me!
