Hey everyone! I’m looking for advice on the best skincare routine for oily skin. I’ve tried a few products, but I still struggle with shine and breakouts.
What cleansers or moisturizers do you recommend? Also, are there any specific ingredients I should look for or avoid? I’d love to hear your experiences and tips!
For oily skin, I’ve had great success with a gel-based cleanser, like one with salicylic acid, because it helps keep your pores clear without stripping your skin. I also swear by lightweight, oil-free moisturizers containing hyaluronic acid; they hydrate without adding extra shine.
As for ingredients, definitely look for products with niacinamide to help control oil production, and avoid heavy oils and creams that can clog pores. I used to struggle with breakouts too, but sticking to non-comedogenic products made a huge difference for me. Have you tried any specific brands yet?
For oily skin, I’ve found that gel-based cleansers work really well. They’re light and help remove excess oil without drying your skin out too much. I also like using a lightweight moisturizer with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin; they keep my skin hydrated but don’t add to the shine.
You might want to avoid heavy creams or anything with alcohol, as those can sometimes make your skin produce even more oil. Have you tried incorporating a clay mask once a week? That really helps me with breakouts and controlling oil.
