Best Practices for Skincare Routine Adjustments

Adjusting your skincare routine can often feel overwhelming. What tips do you have for transitioning products as the seasons change or your skin needs evolve?

Many people find that their skin reacts differently depending on the weather or lifestyle changes. For instance, during colder months, incorporating a heavier moisturizer might be necessary, while summer could call for lighter formulations. Has anyone tried switching up their routine based on these factors?

It would be great to hear your experiences. What products have you found essential for seasonal changes? Any recommendations for specific ingredients that work well during different times of the year?

I usually find that my skin’s needs change more drastically with humidity than with temperature. In the summer, I switch to a gel-based moisturizer and tend to focus on hydration over heavy creams. I’ve also had good luck with adding vitamin C in the spring for a brightening boost before the summer hits!

I totally get the seasonal struggle! I find that switching to a gel-based moisturizer in the summer helps keep my skin hydrated without feeling heavy. In winter, I can’t live without a good face oil to lock in moisture. Have you tried using products with hyaluronic acid in the winter? They really help boost hydration!
